Everything has a reason and a purpose designed by god. Not according to science and psychology.

  • @anubis2814 let me answer your question with a question..why do the itelligenent think their world view applies to everyone else? You do realize that tens of billion people have existed throughout time..you are not unique in your atheist view and sorry science may explain how the world works but it doesn't give life meaning or purporse. I'm agnostic BTW but i don't feel it's right to insult someone just because they have faith

  • @ubermisogynist It is actually important to challenge faith because the religious are currently pressing their beliefs on the rest of us in the form of the republican part, they are actually running on taking away women's reproductive rights and banning porn. I am also using this series to explain how the brain works which is important for everyone to know, it reduces your chances of getting taken in and suckered by people both malicious and well-meaning.

  • What came before Big Bang? Bet noone knows.

  • @compsciguy Nope, we have speculation of M-theory, and it may take decades to centuries to prove it, but science knows its limits, religion does not.

  • Get them young and bend their minds.

  • @pseudoprodigy Since when are divine purpose and consequence the same thing? Consequence has scientific backing, divine purpose has none. Consequence does not require any intelligence to cause the backlash or reaction. Being hit by a car because you walked into the street has nothing to do with a god, that is a natural consequence based on physics.

  • Some pretty remarkable things happen to ppl which seem to defy logic. They say it's bc we don't understand big numbers. It's still coincidence to those that do. I'm not so sure. Maybe its a defence mechanism on my part but some things seem beyond the scope of possibility. However, in all fairness the same could be said about tragedies too.

  • @ubermisogynist

Learning in general DOES give life meaning and purpose if you love it.

  • @compsciguy

What came before the Big Bang? Well, no one knows. At least science humbly admits ignorance, whereas religion fulfills the human need to prematurely jump to conclusions, to "know" regardless of the evidence.

  • @anubis2814 IMO as long as somone is not forcing their faith on you what do you care? if atheist are right then really whats the point. if there is no afterlife and this is the only existence we have then what do atheist gain out of attacking people of faith?

  • thanks so much every time some christian sends me hate mail i'll send them this video as a reply

  • @Demalaxy

    We'll never know.

Those Iron age men had some pretty weird ideas when they wrote that book.
