100 bucks that fish eventually died after release, worst handling job EVER. Really disgraceful.

SHORE TAP! LOL
Sometimes they're hard to hang on to, and I'm sure this guy handles fish more responsibly when he's not trying to put together a video for the Trib.
Honestly though, that fish should have been kept for how long it was messed with. Wet or not, the gills need water flowing through them.
And for the PETA nuts out there, look in the mirror! Your teeth are evidence that meat is in your "designed" diet. Since the dawn of man, we've been fishing. Go kill some more stray cats.

I know that you always need to handle a fish good, but they cant be THAT sensitive!

Hey, shit head, that is not how to handle a fish if you plan to release it. If not, kill it. God, are you an idiot.

That's a beautiful fish, and I appreciate your making this video to show people the importance of clean, undamaged/unobstructed habitat. That said, I was taken aback by your fish handling skills. You dropped that fish at least 3 times & though you did dip it back in the water several times, you kept it out of water for almost 1 1/2 minutes. If you truly respect the habitat & fish (and a cutt like that is worthy of respect/envy)I would hope that you would practice gentler handling techniques.
