The ReedBox is a device that allows users to interact with a computer using magnets. It utilizes an Arduino micro controller and the open source programming language, Processing.
Note: Due to a bad VGA cable, the colors on the monitor aren't quite right.
Hey John, it's Dan Goodman from your intro to digital media class from first semester. Pretty badass project, I remember you talking about this to us a few times. Do you think you could send me the code you used? I never did figure out processing.

Thanks Dan! You can download all of the Processing source code from my website.

Was your Hardware choices inspired by BlueLanternClones? I really like your box.

Thanks! The box was fun to build (and relatively easy) - but wasn't inspired by BlueLanternClones. With that said, it looks as though they're doing some neat stuff. Are you affiliated with them? The box is very low tech - just a handful of reed switches, LEDS, shift registers and an Arduino. The sound is all handled via Processing (with some help from GarageBand).
