  • Each roll is an independent event. The number of dice = the number of outcomes. It's an exponential relationship. 1 die = 6 to the first; 2 dice = 6 to the second; 3 dice = 6 to the third. So, rolling snake eyes is one event (you can't do it more than one way) and the chance of getting it is 1/36 (about 2% chance).
