  • Which TV Jones are those?

  • Oh, 1992...the year I was born and the year PRS stopped making left-handed models. Ugh, what a shame that I will never play one without selling an arm and a leg for it.

  • @WoWintosh Sounds like you played a lemon to me. As far as those ugly streaks, this happens with the natural hardening of minerals from water being processed through the wood (most usually perpendicular to flame) and bold mineral streaks are just as desirable if not more so to many maple enthusiasts. Also, the sustain and intonation are incredible on most prs guitars, ESPECIALLY those with the wraparound stoptail bridge. Try any other ME before you write off the company. Heck, try any other prs.

  • @DanskeSange

I just played a Modern Eagle with a rosewood neck. It sounded muddy and had very poor sustain, it was difficult to play, the top had ugly streaks in the wood(not the flame, just weird imperfections), plus there was excessive friction at the nut, which caused the B string to snap within minutes, plus there's that wraparound tailpiece that is impossible to intonate, plus the glue in the neck joint dampening the tone, just a bad overpriced experience.

  • @TooChillWill You hate PRS? I can't understand.. I love them!

  • Amazing indeed.

  • Great guitar and well played. Too many switches for me, but I hope it found a good home.
