Rule 1 = stupid. A bullet will not magically appear in the chamber once you've checked it's empty and the gun has no magazine in it.

Rule 2 = makes sense, I suppose.

Rule 3 = also stupid unless you're unsure of the emptiness of the chamber.

Rule 4 = makes sense. Don't wanna fuck up anything important behind your target.

This is why idiots should not be allowed to have weapons. Smart people need to dumb ourselves down because of them.

I knew a teen age friend who died because "A bullet DID magically appear in the chamber". He put the bullet into the chamber then gave it to an other friend who shot him in the heart at point blank range. A tragic accident. We will have to wait until we get to the other side to find out why he loaded the gun. Rule #1 should be stated as "A gun is always loaded unless you have personally checked to ensure it is not loaded and have not had the gun leave your hands." This enables you to clean.
