Anonymous and the News Organisations

Dear News Organizations.

We have been watching your reporting of Anonymous's Conflict with The Church of Scientology.

As you said, the so-called Church of Scientology has actively misused copyright, and trademark law, in pursuit of its own agenda. They attempt, not only to subvert free speech, but to recklessly pervert justice to silence those who speak out against them.

We find it interesting that you did not mention the other offences in your news reporting, such as the stifling and punishment of dissent within the totalitarian organization of Scientology, or the numerous, alleged human rights violations, like the treatment and events that led to the deaths of victims of the cult such as Lisa McPherson.

This Cult is nothing but a psychotically driven pyramid scheme.

Why are you, the news media, afraid of discussing these matters? It is your duty to report on these matters. You are failing in your duty.

Their activities make them an affront to freedom.

Remember, all that is necessary for the triumph of evil, is that good men do nothing.

This information is everywhere.

It is your duty to expose it.

It is easy to find.

Google is your friend. This is not Religious Persecution, but the suppression of a powerful, criminal, fascist regime.

It is left to Anonymous, for Anonymous does not fail. The Church has been declared Fair Game. It will be dismantled and destroyed.

Members of the Church - Anonymous is not your enemy. The Church of Scientology is your enemy. The Church has enslaved you. Free Yourselves.

Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability, but comes through continuous struggle. Freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor. It must be demanded by the oppressed.

Take it. Demand it.

This is brilliant and important. How about sending a DVD of this with the transcript to news stations? This could set the record straight. In L.A. we really need it, as they tend to not get their facts straight, and love sensationalism. They are amused by an "online cat fight" and do not grasp the seriousness of the Anonymous cause. They really need to know WHY the masks and Anonymous name, in powerful detail.

There are people within anonymous all over the world submitted videos and reports just like this in a mass effort to gain publicity and support to help bring down The Church of Scientology. Anonymous will take note to make sure that L.A. is notified of Anonymous's efforts.

It's hard to get a story media-wise when the lawyer tells the editor it won't pass or they'll get sued.

I agree with IhateH1pp13s. I interned at KCRA in Sac-town for nine months. They relied on the police scanner, call-in tips, and the Associated Press for all of their news. The Feb. 10th protest only showed video from L.A. but we were about six blocks from the station. A cameraman could've walked over but didn't. TV journalism is lazy. The best we can hope for is a good print journalist.
