It scared the sh*t out of me as I jogged by within 5 feet. I went home and got my camera. When I returned, it was on top of the playground roof - it had killed some prey and was quite proud of it.

  • I saw this hawk today: beautiful. I spoke with the gardener at McGolrick Park and he told me that the city is planing on cutting down all the 70 year old Sycamore trees because they shed there leaves a in a batches instead of all at once and that they self branch which is dangerous. Someone needs to begin a petition to save the Sycamores.

  • No!!! Seriously? Those sycamores are beautiful.
