  • herman li is a joke

  • some nice lines, and not over the top with the shredding. I like the clean tone! many of the sweepers seem to rely on heavy gain & distortion. I like this much better than the fusion stuff he was doing in the 80's. the Aussie can play!

  • @Stingbee13 I wasn't talking about Franks axe. You have to read all the posts.

  • @SuperGuitarman69

    It isn't a Gibson.

    Gambale play Yamaha....

  • that guitar has got a thin and awful sound, very sharp and to little texture, like a hollowbody would give.

  • as much as i really didn't like his fusion, i love this. huh, never would have thought.

  • @sweetchildonline I got it. Sounds great. Love that Gibson too. Gibsons are getting out of hand on prices. But yeah that sounded great. Make your way to the states and I'll hook you up with players. Like Brent etc.. to go see meet etc..

  • @SuperGuitarman69 i sent you a comment with a link as it wouldn't work here

  • @sweetchildonline Holdsworth is outstanding. I think Frank is more difficult to emulate tho do to his speed and excellent picking technique

  • @SuperGuitarman69 hmm interesting, but i think i wanna get a matchless or carvin,i have two of those pedals that you say though might be worth the experiment, what do you use? This is from an earlyer comment <-- that is him there, not great though he'd kill me if he saw me put it up.Your almost right about gambale though i'd say allen holdsworth is hard to emulate, its hard to even say the chords he uses,i give up everytime i try to play over one of his sequences

  • @sweetchildonline If you want to get the dumble sound? Do this. Get a 66 67 Bassman head on ebay. There are 3 really great overdrive pedals I can recommend. The Timmy, ZenDrive, and the Hotwired pedal by Wampler. Also, you need to use 2 pedals before you hit them. You need a compressor. The new Keeley, or the Saffron Squeeze if you can find one by Way Huge (the old ones). Then a boss eq (they grey one) then into your distortions. I strongly recomment the new line 6 M9 for your color pedal

  • @SuperGuitarman69 this will be a reply to many messages my you tube comments didn't work for a second

Wow thats mad to think of carlton, somebody that good shouldn't have that ego because he shouldn't have to be like that in his field of music or any but his sound is amazing,i want a dumble,i'm in the shop for a new amp but they are far to expensive. We're working on a channel to put stuff on of both of us,because all the stuff up is bad or bad quality
