Monica Dennington, Olive Branch From A Reformed Believer

Ms. Dennington's recent titles on Reformed faith generated various, profitable responses. But to my knowledge, none explicitly offers friendship and acceptance in Christ. This title attempts a basis for such rapprochement.

Christian unity never argues for corporate, spiritual impurity. Rightly understood, unity appeals for the recognition of Christ's headship in the church. It is essential that this be understood.

Such things as Ms. Dennington has done dont occur in a vacuum. My sense is that she felt pressed into something she really didnt want. Whatever might be said (and much could be), Im quite certain that were not seeing the whole picture.

Brother, you can put you olive branch aside. I'm afraid she is busy accusing us of deviciveness, while at the same time trying to set the non-Calvinists in the Christian community against us. Ironic, huh?

I'm impressed with him. Conviction in Love brings a sinner to their knees, not scorn.

I disagree with Dennington on every possible level. I think she's wrong and I think she was wrong when she first sent me one of her videos some two years ago.

I just knew there was somethin' up with this girl but I couldn't figure it out.

I have been hurt by some of what she's said but I know from experience, scorn will only push away, not beckon for submission.

Ms. Denningtons words summon us to bear Christs wounds with gladness and honor. Dismiss the ironies and give no offence save that of Christs own crown. His Name matters, not ours. 3Jo 1:9-10 sum the charges to be faced in connection with this. But later titles cast a thoroughly pagan cosmology that is not even remotely Christian. Needed is on location accountability. Are Dallas churches speaking with the Denningtons (PO Box in Irving, TX), or are they fine with Tic Tocs female Holy Spirit?

My wife and I were banned because we asked about her personal testimony. Who is she? What is her personal experience with Christ? You know, "Christian" stuff. You want my attention and my money but who are you?

The problem is that people steer from Jesus' teachings and depend on man's understanding. Truth is we don't even know if we're going to heaven. They say our actions will not get us there, but our actions can keep us out. We have no say on who around us makes it in or not. That's God's decision. Jesus is a person, God is Spirit it's time we acknowledge him as a person and stop talking about him like the world does. As if he is a thought or theory.It goes against Jesus' sacrifice & reconciliation

Well, I don't believe in infant baptism and I don't know what a lot of the other things he mentioned in relation to "reformed" theology are but I am very impressed with him as a person and what he says here.

His grace is amazing.

So for this video I am very grateful.
