@Boleiro hahah i'm sure van eron wouldn't want to see a video reminding him of this game, as fine of a video it may be

Its great to see the Blast and the MISL back. Great game against the NY Arrows from 1984.
-
The Arrows and Blast were probably major MISL Rivals
-
The Blast have been traditionally one of the best teams in Indoor Soccer
-
That Baltimore arena field was a cracker jack box, Cooper designed many teams to fit the smaller field.
-
Turf wars with other indoor soccer leagues put the MISL, (and later simply MSL,) into the ground.
SAN DIEGO SOCKERS FOREVER!!!
-
I have a signed Arrows catalog, with Lawson and Shep Messing. Good stuff. Nassau Coliseum baby!
-
From 1984-1987, MISL was the bomb, they had it all and the world was their oyster. What the hell happened?? Too bad. I miss games like these.

In the early to mid 80's there was a huge increase in participation among the youth in soccer in the states. This was due mostly to the popularity of indoor soccer in my opinion. The indoor game was fresh and exciting and it sold out many arenas. I have so many wonderful memories back than ! I miss how it was. The indoor game died pretty fast here but it was probably the most exciting game on earth !!!!!!!
