  • I do not know why audiences bother to go to the expense of buying tickets to see GREAT artists, only to speak so loudly only their voices can be heard. It's the height of ignorance. Thankfully, an artist such as Bettye's stature, cuts through that ignorance....for the few true of heart, who can hear the beauty and artistry of Bettye's soul, you are the best!!!

  • This woman has such class, beauty, and grace. A voice of pure heart for the ages I will always cherish!

  • I'm white and I'm sure the audiance was blended. I agree. Stupid idot people!

BETTY SHOULD OF BEEN A MEGGA STAR. LOOKS AND SOUNDS LIKE A LADY IN HER 30's. WOW!! I AM TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY======

  • Her voice has similarities to Ruth Brown. but, there is a difference I cant place my finger on. ???

  • This is one of the MOST BEAUTIFUL songs I have ever heard and no one sings it like Miss Bettye! Sing Bettye Sing!

  • No baby I get it and I like ! I listen to Fiona Apple's version after hearing this one but chose to keep this version because of the soulfulness of the version. Her voice carries over the noise and connects to the soul dispite the distractions! Thanks for posting.
