i just bought a winchester model 70 Super Grade 30-06 rifle and it is made in the usa i am Canadian and i am proud of the fact that my rifle is American made . i owne more winchester than any other brand and i have a pre 64 30-06 and i want to say way to go winchester you got it right this is not a knock off of the pre64 it is by far a better rifle i guide biggame hunters get to handle every brand and many customes im 51 years old and this rifle is a keeper the pre64 is my sons now love it

I could care less if it seems cheaper. In the long haul it will end up being more expensive because the US dollars involved will go to what *could* have been an American. Every dollar that goes to China is a dollar America doesn't have, and when your $16.4 trillion in debt you (literally) can't afford to pay someone else to do your job.

I just put money down on one winchester is an American company but I think there assembled in belgium on the barrel I think it says fh Belgium

Basically everything is chinese made, its almost always cheaper. Millions of people buy chinese made goods. ya it sux but its reality. whether they are equal would take time testing but ive heard surprisingly good things about Norinco firearms. if they werent sound and reliable they would be out of business.

Better than what, and by what standard? I laugh at the idea of Chinese ANYTHING being sound and reliable, but I could care less either way because i'm not lending my monetary support to the largest communist nation on earth.
