My dad was Gregg Fancy, he played on albums like Special Brew, Give Me a Break and Appearing Nightly. Now I look like him and I play bass too, cool eh?

@awoosoul I knew Dutchie years ago when I worked at The Palace Cabaret in Halifax, awesome man.He had gout, which eventually led to him having to put down his beloved axe (guitar).I feel fortunate that I actually got to see him play,he was an amazing bluesman.RIP Norman 'Dutch' Mason.

Right effing on ! I'm new to this computer shit, and I typed in Dutch...and poof there he was. Great dude, saw him alot on the 70,s and am proud to say that he was my friend. It was gout that ceased hisguitar playing...but I saw him do it, and did he make that thing ring. Rest his soul.
There are two ignorant pieces of crap here and (necroticpus and crosbystillsnash68) you make me sick. Dutch was physically not well and couldn't play guitar any longer because of the effects of his illness, but he kept on doing what he loved best, singing the blues. There is no way either of you two ingrates will ever achieve the talent and status of Dutch Mason a true Canadian legend and a fine man who cared about people.

This shit is too funny!
If Dutchy was still alive today he's be laughing his ass off at being called a caveman, and probably be honoured to be compared to Sam Losco.
Nobody had a better sense of humour than Dutch!
