Full bolton Z28 versus head/cam/stall GTO

friendly rematch. First time we ran I was bolton/stall only and I had him by around 1 car. Now I have ported L92 heads and cam. I'm on Dunlop Dirrezza Star Specs and he's on Nitto drag radials. GTO ran 12.1 @ 115 in first run down the track. (posi went out)

Greed qwkgoat. What's even stupider is when guys with auto's put big stall converters in and then roll race. It's truly not hard to make a stalled auto launch hard, regardless of make or model.

Z28 never kept up with me: I gave him the hit and basically played with him until the last run where we left even and I went ALL OUT on him. I was PLAYING with a car that gave me a damn good run before the heads/cam install. :D

My new setup has so much torque that I still cant believe it. Just amazing power EVERYWHERE!!!! can't believe it's a stock LS2 displacement with no power adder.

XassasinatorX: You're right when it comes to random cars I encounter on the street, but there is ALOT of fast cars in the local forums. Also, my first random street race after the install was a loss to a built Evo. Side by side to 100mph, then he slowly pulled a half car on me by 140.

Wow your GTO ran 12.1 with little mods? thats fucking good :) i did 12.9 at the track with only headers and intake... and hoping to do better numbers next year with cams ^.^

@jiubi24 I ran 12.1 with aftermarket heads/cam/intake/3600 stall converter/full boltons. Thats not "Little Mods" in anyones book.

Car should be in the mid 11's next spring: posi went out and car was one wheel spinning all down the track.

@dbrandinni There is nothing 'little' about Goats hah. I'll tell you one thing, they may be fast but they should be a hell of a lot faster. They are just fat bastards lol. Stock for stock an LS1 F Body can get them from a dig, but from a roll the LS2 just shows its potential and pulls. With these mods it *should be a low 12 sec maybe 11 sec car. My buddy has a cam/catback LS1 and ran an 11.97 on some Nitto street tires. DR's would proabably get it into mid 11's. My point, GTO's should be faster!
