Mister Auwald was comissioned to create this work with his Auwald Trio for an art exibition in rural Bavaria. The music follows the impulses of the graphic designs. "Reaktives musizieren".The poems scrolling across are from Else Lasker Schüler "Schwarze Sterne" (Black stars), Stefan George "Vogelschau", Christian Morgenstern "Notturno in Weiss" and Günter Eich "Wie grau es auch regnet". The poetry is full of dark romanticism, magic and longing.
This is an extract only. The film was made by Mr. Vogel. It was projected on four huge screens in an 19th century post office building.
Created in a little studio close to the Alps on a stormy and snowy winter night.

The snow in the night made it all black and white. :)

  • This is really beautiful and mysterious...thanks for sharing this Mr. Auwald. Where could I see the whole piece? -mejs
