Boy, what a voice. He amazes me every time I listen to him in any performance. I can hardly listen to anybody else these days. FA has been my latest "discovery" and I've been blown away by his vocal artistry and his career. A Master. Maestro. A Legend, what else?

My opinion is my opinion and not bullshit. You may not agree with it, but I have a right to have it. And I never got my check to be a part of claque against him; could my check be lost in the mail?

I agree with you. He is clearly a lyric tenor. Despite how well he sang more dramatic rep...the voice was more suited to this rep. Anyone who does not hear the marked deterioration in his sound after he began his foray into heavier rep is in denial.

What a beautiful voice he HAS!! He sings and plays the part so PERFECTLY!!! Everything he sings and acts is ABSOLUTELY flawless!!!!!!

i don't agree: you should hear his voice now. he has the same range and volume: the thing that he has lost his voice is just a s...t written by an angry member of the claque who wasn't paid enough. his voice has the same beauty, altough it is much heavier so he can sing the heroic roles too with the same beauty as always.

bullshit! he had and still has a greatvoice in the heavier repertoire. he was only not accepted by the critics, because another "great" tenor has paid the claque and some critics to boo him, to kill his career as a dramatic tenor. everyone knows it. he is still a great singer, having a wonderful dramatic voice even in the wagner roles. his problems are caused by personal problems (many of his close relatives died in that period), so that is why he sand not so well during the characterchanging.
