my dad just turned 70 yrs , and he started trucking in northern ontario when he was 16, he is still trucking,hauling contaminated soil in northern alberta , im so proud to be his son, last count he was just over 9 million miles

i no what ur talking about i've also had ghost riders in the rig with me late at night where other truckers have died on the highway and once in a while they hitch a ride with another trucker like myself it brings a tear to ur eyes and really makes u think about alot of things at the same time

my father was also a truck driver, still miss him, but there is such a thing as "ghost" trucks out there I still see my father driving his truck.

i know the feeling mate! did 15 yrs on the road did,nt see my boys grow up only w/ends, but they used to come with me. but hey i have a job now were i am home every night now(just wish i could have been home more?) but hey the food was on the table and the bills was paid thats what dads do (is,int is)

My dad was a trucker for over 40 yrs,, He drove up until he passed away over 3 yrs ago.. He was my world and I am daddys girl,, I grew up with trucking.. My brother drives, and married a trucker.... We sit and talk about dad all the time and the stories were we went on the road with him.... I miss him every dang day,,, God Bless Truckers, and let them to return to there families... Thank you posting this...

I'm a dad and a trucker, this remembers me wy I'm doing it, for my beloved wife and daughter who are always waiting for me at home. It ain't an easy life, but I love my truck and so I'm abel to give my daughter everything she needs. This song is awesome.
