Blackout drapes & curtains greatly reduce the light pouring into your rooms. If you want to darken the room, just add a blackout lining to your drapery. Blackout lining is a thermal foam-type lining that will keep out light, hot damaging sun and the heat on a cold winter's night.

  • My 'Home Theatre' ?!! Which one, I've got several!!!!!

  • @youpumpertube Actually, the adjective would be draperied. Drapes is a verb, as in "she drapes the fabric on the table," however in North American English it is also the correct plural noun to describe large heavy curtains.

  • Drapes is an adjective. Drapery is a noun.

  • Blackout drapes were required for most cities near the oceans during World War 2 to prevent the enemy from seeing their potential targets on bombing runs.

I wonder where can you get them, no matter it can be homemade as well.
