Keeping my hand in during this channels extreme lack of uploads of recent months. It is not for the want of new material but the lack of free time and an on going project which has swamped me totally.
Here is one that I have had 'on the back burner' as they say.

Layton and Johnstone are in fine voice on this very chirpy 1927 medley which is a long standing favourite of mine. My first copy was acquired with a crack down it so i was overjoyed about 10 years ago to find this A1 copy. You can't get much more 1920's atmosphere than this.

With rotten cold weather and dismal dark evenings let these Gentlemen of Song spread some cheer. Happy 2010 to all.

Such a cheerful record - one I've not heard before. "I'm in love again" was an early Cole Porter hit. They sing it with gusto.
