Fiesta de Navidad
El Jolgorio de Massachusetts, Inc. ("El Jolgorio") is a 501 (c)(3), non-profit organization, dedicated to fostering leadership, civic engagement and educational attainment among Latino youth.
Although "El Jolgorio" has been in existence since 1989, its role in promoting education through art was cemented in early 2000, with the growth of Massachusetts ' Latino population and the popularity of the "Jolgorio Navideño" (a traditional Puerto Rican Christmas celebration).
These factors and the integration of the "Jolgorio Navideño," have facilitated the resources to develop and grow innovative programs like the Hispanic Writers Program and the Puerto Rican Cuatro Project.
El Jolgorio de Massachusetts, Inc. is supported by a broad group of community leaders and corporate organizations who are dedicated to promoting the arts and are committed to advancing educational programs for Latino youth.
