I don't have the exact same sample broswer as he is using from the beginning of this tutorial. I don't have "Oneshot" samples. Anyone else have this problem or know how I can get around this?

I FOUND THE ONESHOTS. Above the samples there are two buttons and bpm. On the buttons there are two pictures, a picture of an arrow looking thing, and another of an arrow looking thing in the shape of a circle. Click the Straight arrow looking thing. That's as best as I can explain it.

What if I want the beat I make on the Machiniste pause during a vocal, and the continue after the vocal? Can you let me know how to do this if it's possible? Thanks
