You said that you saw him personally breaking the rules (and supposedly not getting penalised).
That makes me even more skeptic about how rules are applied in this competition!

I dont care what the cause of going off route is the corrective behaviour is CLEAR... and he violated it.
As for the 2nd violation the rules are clear... no passing off on the interstate.... BTW... I have personally seen Jure do this before in RAAM without getting a violation which leads me to suspect this is standard for his crews

I believe that this year's penalities weren't that straightforward:
1rs 15min for inappropriate behavior: the man went to pee before the race behind the stage,... and that was before the race even started!
2nd 15min for irregular overtaking: the crew misunderstood the judges signaling as a sign of permition for overtaking. The same judge later issued the penalities
3rd 30min for not returning to the place of departure. The cause were discrepancies between GPS file and route book.

Robic has raced RAAM 7 times... you'd think he would know the rules by now.... 2004 his crew accuses Trevino of going off course and not returning to place of departure. This year... Robic is caught doing the very same thing.... JUSTICE

Yeah, bravo, make even more drama, yes, go on, everything to attract more audience...
But you know what I think: the judge's over-attention towards the favorite racer, in the attempt to create a more balanced (and dramatic) race, killed what could be a magnificent finish!
