You cannot really claim that the bridge was able to support 810 pounds considering the load was let off at about 400 pounds, then the weight was reaplied. The bridge may only be able to support about 500 pounds until breaking point. Great design, however unless it holds 810 pounds at once, that claim in innacurate.

@dugesisthename123 The video has two different takes on different days. The bridge initially broke around 400lbs at 2:08 because the S hook holding up the plank gave out. The bridge did not break at that point. We retested it another day with a better S hook, and when it breaks at 4:55, it has 810lbs on the plank at that time. It actually would have been higher if the initial take didn't take some stress out the bridge. So 810lbs is actually accurate.

Haha, the goggles were for incase any part of the bridge snapped off and flew towards us.

Well record at our school, and technically PISD on the first try. Because our teacher told us the one from West that held the 1041lbs wasn't the bridge for the grade, but a bridge made afterwards.
