Holy crap! Mark Levin's making sense???
-
This was a continuation of a case, Ashcroft v. Raich that happened a year before. Sort of a second round at the Court.

I've smoked it a few times. It sucks when people say that's so terrible, because alcohol is actually more dangerous.

What iritates me most about Wickard v. Filburn is the law being challenged recognized that a certain amount of the commodity for personal use was not subject to federal regulation under the commerce clause. Subsequent courts have ignored this. The main issue to me in Raich is the outright ban. How does the power to regulate morph into a power to ban?

It was a Supreme Court decision against medical marijuana from 2005 that had implications for any commerce within states. Mark Levin is saying he's against marijuana but worried about the precident of the ruling.

He doesn't like the people who smoke it. But he also thinks possession of marijuana should be decriminalized.

@day50912A
So he's more libertarian than a lot of the people on the right?
On this issue, as he believes in Marijuana decriminalization.

But not legalization. And he's a douche about marijuana. I just thought this segment was interesting.
