@gzusd It's a Gibson ES-335. The Riviera was originally intended as a budget-friendly version of a 335, but it developed its own unique appeal.

Being a qualified musician myself, I can tell that the ability to write good songs is prominent in Razorlight, and if making good songs is "selling out"... well I kno tht I'd appreciate if many people enjoyed sumthin I'd put my talents into.
If u want to discuss conventional, sellout bands lets bring up Orson or Blue.
