However, we are in a different era where people treat each other better than before , where the people that enslaved, raped, beat, and killed "your" people are no longer alive. We now live in a time where we are trying to correct the mistakes of our ancestors and the ramifications are evident.Therefore, as of now, i believe the appropriate thing to say would be let's learn to live in harmony as each day progresses.
