The person I was replying to when I said 'You are not doing Jim Butcher any favours' was a guy goign to EVERY Dresden video with the same spam insulting the show and demanding we 'take down this crap.' You think that's okay!??

The person I was replying to here originally when I first brought up Jim Butcher was because the person here was claiming to speak for Jim Butcher, demanding that ALL show related videos be taken down and that the show is crap. He posted this on a LOT of videos. Now to me that's just wrong. The kid was going to ALL these videos saying the same thing. His posts are gone but my replies are not. I think his account got suspended. Don't assume what I said was random attacks on book fans.

By the way, check out Jim Butcher's Scifi wire interview from 2008 (just a few months back) where he said a quote from the show inspired the plot for his graphic novel, Welcome to the Jungle. I don't care if his view changed. I NEVER attacked book fans. I LOVE the books. I adore Thomas Raith and wish he got to appear in the show. I like the show's Bob as much as I love Thomas.

Erm. Actually, at ConDFW this past year in Dallas, JB made it pretty clear that he was disappointed in the direction the show took. He was classy in that he didn't come right out and say "OMG I HAET IT" but he did admit he was waiting for Sci-Fi's license to expire so he could try and get a film version made. A film that would be a far closer adaption than the tv series. Don't put words in his mouth, Chuckles. It won't make the show come back. It just shows you can't listen.

I guess his view of the show all depends on his mood or how well scifi is treating him this or that week. He's been waiting for the rights to run out ever since scifi didn't renew the show. Can you blame him? And don't call me chuckles, it's condescending.

I don't have to put words in his mouth. He does it well enough for himself. Go to Jim butcher's own forum. Now go to the TV show section. Check out the earliest thread for Birds of a Feather in season 1's section. The first post is by Jim Butcher, read it. Then there are a few more.
