Most asian kids are told to do it at a young age i dont agree with this because you have to want to do music not be forced to and then start to like it it takes passion

Asians are good at everything

Stubborn can be a good thing, it can work for you and a very Asian trait as well as many others. I believe a childs natural ability should be pushed. It is very difficult to enjoy a talent until you are very good at it. We dumb our kids down with their "childhood" as long as he is able to be a child but hard long hours of practice only did me good and had me love a sport that became a true joy only after those long hours and dedication that was PUSHED by a parent.

The real question is does he actually enjoy it, or has he just been forced to play since he could? If the first, his parents should be extremely proud of him. If the latter, his parents should be extremely ashamed of themselves
