Texas Super 8 Massacre

Best Super 8mm films made for various Cinemaker Festivals throughout 1997. The compilation tape was juried.

Some of the films used the 4x4 format:

- no more than four splices
- no longer than four minutes silent super 8 film
- films have to be titled
- films have to have a 5 second countdown prior to the first image frame - for sound syncing purposes at live events.

The vast majority of the films were one roll, in-camera edited works, without any cuts. Soundtracks were often created often without watching the films.
