I went to this game and sat with a rowdy bunch of fans in the bleachers throwing streamers and confetti. It was the greatest time I've ever had at a sporting event...and the Crew won! GO CREW!

i can't believe i actually thought the galaxy would make the playoffs.

it's embarrassing, having the top scorer in the league, along with a former world-class player (beckham) with such great history in the past and be in last place in the entire league.

the beckham thing was a total disaster.

i feel ashamed to even be a galaxy fan right now.

and my family wasted a crapload of money nine regular season games, but at least the mls cup final will be exciting.

Well, obviously if he were after the money, he would just stick with modeling and forget soccer, but I've seen in an interview when they asked him "Do you keep in such good shape for your numerous ads and Photo shoots"

he said "I keep in shape beccause I am a footballer, It has always been my career. Modeling was just a plus, my fitness determines how well I play on the pitch . . . my passion is Football above all"

And it shows when he plays for England. Respect to "El Mellizo"

well yes he may have experience to sheare with the american players, just as for instance Guillermo Barros Schelotto may have (who is a personal idol for me and my team Boca, even biger than maradona) but think of this: wich is his best quality, play or modeling, i think he is a malemodel who happends to be playing football, but besides of that is his game i don`t like, his stile, may be is just a personal thing but i prefere the fighting players. So Go columbus!

The galaxy's defensive line and keeper are to blame for their predicament Beckham has only contributed to the scoring and has even played as a "defen. Mid" to help the galaxy in the back. I don't know why people though of him as the "Saviour" for the LA GALAXY when he's a -Right Midfielder- to begin with.

Though I agree with you on bringing him in for the "money" issue. i have to disagree with you in one thing Beckham may not be the player he once was before, but nevertheless, he still contributed to this team tremendously. He's still being called up to play for England and not by popular demand (the British like him as much as you do) but because he is a team player, i give credits when it deserves to be give.

Good argument, but wrong my friend, the MLS and the LA GALAXY brought Beckham for the money, pure and simple he is lake the king-midas-of-football (i`m argentinian i said football not soccer) he turns gold everithing he touches, but he is an awfull player, coward, i apreciate football i really do, but i tell wat i don`t like: a player who prefers to be payed above playing. if you not enjoy the game then F*ck of dude!!!

Good, Saunders sounds like what we need.  He only gave up one goal in this game.

Actually we've had 3 goalkeepers. Cronin broke his hand, so we moved to his backup Wicks (last year's USL GK of the Year - 2nd division). He sucked so we brought in Josh Saunders on loan from Miami (he used to be with LA but he got cut last preseason). I hope we bring in Saunders full time because I think he is the best of the bunch (he's on the Peurto Rican national team).
