@Shaylatheforestfairy No, unfortunately, the hairless cats will still trigger allergic reactions. It's the dander (dead skin) that makes people allergic, not the hair.

Sphynx cats are the best. Mine is so incredibly friendly and goofy. He gets along with the other cat and dog. They may look strange, or even scary, but give them a chance.

you're right. and there are even breds where the gen for hairlessness is dominant.

Contrary to popular belief, the hairlessness was a mutation. Two normal cats had kittens, one being hairless, and then they bred it with other cats and so on. One could say that the hairless feature is an act of God, just not practical by evolutionary standards and Darwinism.

Hello. I wanted to know if these type of cats are sold in rhode island?. Reason i ask is because ive been wanting one for 2yrs now! and i cant find them anywhere around me way.

@dantheman9758 These cats are carefully bred and cared for by their owners. You will likely never, ever see a sphynx stray walking around.
Remember don't feed them after midnight and don't pour water on them XD.
