    As Stallman also said in the lecture (not shown in the video), Free Software is in fact not communist because it allows free market while proprietary software only offers a monopoly. A monopolistic 'capitalism', just like state capitalism, is communism. How ironic it is when people call free open source software being communist in nature. BTW, the GNU GPL allows you to redistribute the software at a price. The only challenge is, you have to compete with others who offer free downloads.
