@2b4jama : surprised, then afraid, then feeling only the adrenaile while taking action.. then depending if I were lucky, or not: relief then anger, or pain then nothing at all. I wonder what it is that gets them? the concussion? I never tried this, loks fun, but traps always worked for me. The simple trap-line ones do a good job. Stabs them through the chest and crushes it, yeah it's mean but quick. It's not like I can get underground and take a head shot on the poor things with a .22.

Love it what an awesome idea! I'm going to try and make something similar to deal with our rabbit problem, the buggers are breeding faster than I can kill them with a rifle.

LOVE the Rodent Blaster... we use it to control our gopher, mole, and ground-squirrel population here on the ranch.
To those who don't understand WHY you need to control the population... the gophers ate over $5000 worth of produce on our ranch last year, AND ground squirrel holes broke one of our horses legs requiring HER to be put down.
We ONLY do it around the garden, the lawn, and the corral (5 acres)... they can have the other 35 acres.
