Found this little gem on GOG, and what a wonderful surprise it was.

Tongue in cheek, good natured and well designed and put together. Like an interactive fairytale. Well worth the 15$ I paid.

I'm as guilty as anyone at adoring grand, epic, dark adventures, with tragedy and mature content abundant. And then this comes along, and sends me back to an almost forgotten childhood, where everything is fresh and magical.

Hi mopsvonmiez! Glad to hear you've liked Driftmoon! Did you try moving with the mouse, that is definitely the way we've meant the character to be moved around. (Just hold down the mouse button, pointing it to the direction you want to move toward.)

It looks like a decent game, mechanics wise...but when the main character moves like a robot and turns like a turret, it puts me way, way off a purchase. I have to at least have fun moving my character around. Too stiff..way, way too stiff.

Hello minbari173: Just wanted to let you know that the player in Driftmoon's actually meant to be moved around by using the mouse. ;) With the mouse it's very easy to move the character around, but if you resort to using WASD (an alternative that we've provided), it's really much, much stiffer that way - and that's why we ourselves never play the game with the keyboard. :)

Not really. In my opinion the original NWN campaign was dull as a blunt knife, where this is full of surprises and laughs. :o)

I think you missed the point of minbari73's message. He is saying the player LOOKS like he's a robot. It has nothing to do with controls. He has his elbows bent at right angles with his hands infront of him, back straight like there's a stick up his arse. It doesn't feel like an organic motion.
