While this video does not contain nearly as much footage or entertainment as last years i thought it would still be nice to upload it. I moved from Utah since the last video so this one was filmed while on a trip passing through. Naturally i did not have as much time to film as last year and the conditions were simply,... satisfactory. I had to repair the pre existing trail, because most kids just dont realize it is a GOOD IDEA to Not walk aimlessly on a sleding hill.
I experimented with a time lapse presenting the construction of the ramp and the down ramp. there is only one night clip of ME on the ramp i built. i later had some extra time to film at another location, but conditions were not as good as the usual/previous location, but it served its purpose for an idea i had to build a second jump after the down ramp... and some lame 180s....
AND i hope the cool brave kid (just went for the jump without a trial no-ramp run) that tried my sled/ kneeboard in the video finds this ;)
I went back to the first location on the way home and i guess i really do build great ramps, because mine was seriously Trashed, and the trail down was used to the point that grass was showing through, plus the sun was hot and melting everything. a real bummer, 'cause i was hoping to do it up better! To make it all the more depressing, i missed some footage of possibly the bravest person to try my kneeboard yet. the guy absolutely flew through the air because it was a ramp built ON THE HILL (unsafe) instead of at the base like i preffer to build. I bet he flew 8 ft in the air and 25-30 ft far... since i know i get about 20 ft distance on flat ground on a similar sized jump (this years record distance was about 5 1/2 snow shovel lengths. the jump filmed at night fall). OHHH WELLL... maybe next time i will have something better to show for "PART 3" next winter...
cool video
