@qenego34 The fact that David James, a stated Libertarian activist and Ron Paul supporter, went on the record to disclose this information, says the information has credibility. If Ron Paul was a front runner, I'm sure it would be brought up.

@qenego34 Well, we may never know if there will be a member of the Paul family in a Romney administration. I don't believe Romney can beat Obama in general debate. Neither can Santorum or Paul. Gingrich may have baggage coming into the election, but his debating skills, knowledge of politics and knowledge of history will fare better in debate than the other three candidates. I actually like most of what Ron Paul has to say. I don't like that he was one of the first to go negative.

@Cyclerosis The Paul family has already said that Romney/Paul is never going to happen. For a guy who gives back hundreds of thousands of his Congressional budget every year to all of a sudden change his character to rip people off for a plane flight is not only absurd but ludicrous.

@Cyclerosis This was brought forth by Rush Limbaugh, please do find a more credible source. Also as a point, if this was really true or mattered, the other candidates would have used it in the debates as ammo by now.

Roll Call unearthed occasions where Rep. Ron Paul took full reimbursements for travel from both taxpayers and from political groups, apparently pocketing the cash. His campaign responded that a few errors might have occurred but no intentional fraud had ever occurred. Today, Roll Call reports that they have found more cases of double-dipping.Libertarian activist and former Paul ally David James to go on the record as saying he warned Paul of this very practice which has led to a falling out.

Ms. Clinton is shrewd enough to use flattering psycology on Ron Paul. Ron Paul will not be the nominee. Ron Paul is simply, and overtly, helping Romney become the nominee. I like a lot of what Ron Paul has to say, but not the double teaming he's doing to ensure Romney, the establishment candidate, gets the nomination.

Right! Encourage him to play spoiler! Encourage him to team up with Romney against any Romney challenger! That way he can ensure a good place in a Romney administration for his son Rand. The problem with the plan, is that Obama will THRASH Romney in all debates, because there's very little distinction between Romney and Obama. Ron Paul is as hypocritical as Santorum. Ron Paul has double billed his travel expenses and voted for earmarks like every other carreer politician on Capitol Hill.

I'd be interested in learning what qualifications you have to prove that you know what you're talking about when you make a claim like that, and that you aren't just making a mindless attack against a candidate you don't understand and don't like like every other would-be political expert. I don't know anything about you, but unless you can back up what you say with valid facts, I get the impression that you don't actually know anything about this.
