  • u guys are too good.... this suits the song the way the song was intended - in a mast way lol fantastic... (only the guy on the harmonium got drowned out by the drums in his solo lol but the little i could hear sounded good)

  • Just.fucking.awesome. A proper western take on Nusrat. The gateway between western and eastern spiritual music has always jazz/free jazz. And this not only does a respectful job of intepreting a Qawwali but the use of call and response with a saxophone reminescent of a old blues/afro-american call and response structures is just gold. Nusrat and Coltrane/Mingus would be proud.
