Think of it like an internal combustion engine -4 stroke. Suck, squeeze, bang, blow. It's drawing in air to compress. Compressing it, igniting fuel with the compressed air (like a diesel engine would at TDC) then using the force of the expanding air (Expanding because it's heating) to drive the first stage compressors.
I hope this clarified it a little.
It's really nothing more than a large turbocharger on an engine- instead it does all the combustion internally.

As a complete turbine noob, would there be any form of propulsion if the rotors turned without fuel being added to create a controlled explosion?
Is the whole purpose of squeezing that much air into such a confined space simply to feed air to the fire? Is that why the options are always prop, jet or a combination & never just a non-explosive turbine?
And the prime flux capacitor is inwardly downgraded into a compressed actuator, incidentally liquefying the carburetor, then equinoxing the flubberatio.
cant believe in a CFM-produced video the HP turbine is spinning backwards .... haha, classic

it's not bad but there are no details

@kangaroomoleste Your right, a jetengine works with four strokes.
I´t only a different way of working.
