I think it is just because I find people very interesting. I am always curious about the social aspects surrounding World of Warcraft. I feel like it is a topic that has been talked and talked about "Female Gamers", but then why do people still talk about it.

LOL That's exactly how I play. I think there's a lot more women that play MMO's out there than people assume. Or, do they assume correctly, and just like to play up the whole overreaction deal? "omg, girl games? wtf?!"

@MrSpukinator You're right - it's about 20%, from the latest data I can find (2009). I'd suspect the percentage to be even higher now - still nowhere near 40 percent though. Perhaps near 25%?
