My brother smashed his old three channel heli, so we gutted it and turned it into a three channel differential thrust plane with a tail rotor as a rudder! Sadly, many of the crashes were probably due to my inexperience with planes (never flown rc planes before, only helicopters). The tail rotor/rudder was also crazy powerful and caused the plane to flip and roll if i over corrected. I got the plans for the basic plane from rcpowers.com (With thanks to Dave Powers!). We then modified the design to hold twin motors plus a tail rotor.

  • man thats a really cool idea time to put a brushless and lipos in it

  • so wheres your helicopter you made into a plane then mister big shit? you cant do no damn better so be quiet

  • It's just low on power. The motors just can't fly a plane that big. Try a scaled down version, also, you don't seem to have anything controlling roll, may build something with dihedral in the wings, that's when the wings aren't flat but bending a bit upwards like a cross section of a bowl.

  • ha ha ha!!!!!!

  • piece of shit.,.,.
