@docduds As far as i know, medical vehicles are bound by international law not to be armed. But if I were to decide, these vehicle should be equipped with at least a light machine gun. The rebels often don't comply to international law.

good idea and its about time ... my question is whats inside? useless din yan kung walang trained crew and lifesaving equipment ? ... does this v150 carry a weapon? remember the best medicine in the battlefield is fire superiority ,,, we are fighting an unconventional war hence we have to do unconventional rescue hooo-rahhh

All vehicles bearing the red cross is not allowed to mount a gun or cannon or any weapons for that matter according to Geneva Conventions. If it is armed, then it cannot be considered as a non-combatant vehicle, thus subjecting it to enemy fire.

The 2nd ambulance will be going into service shortly. Ambulance #3 is still in the works. The goal it to equip all three Marine Brigades with at least one.

There are other retired V-150s that are being converted for that purpose.
