People, this thing isn't for performing or recording, its for learning the guitar neck... if you can't see the value of that then you don't understand much about music.

  • I got one of these and im a complete begginer, but i see my self improvme faster than i thought, only just cheesed of that fret light make you pay so much for guitar and then ask about $50 for lesson paks

  • Share a free media player with u, named DAPlayer. It can play both DVD discs and all videos, even Blu-ray disc.

  • I just bought the pro guitar package, i know it will help me learn the other 27 or so scales i haven' t learned yet. I've been playing for 15 yrs. i think its gonna be a great learning tool and quickly take me out of my rut. It makes sense to be able to see the scale right before your eyes instead of in a book or on a screen. If this works well, i'm gonna recommend it to everyone i can.

  • @vizdotnu I agree. It is for practice, learning, and, hell, some good fun! I don't discount it at all. And, yes, if you were recording a song you would NOT use this. Certainly not in a live performance. But it is a great and fun tool to play, learn and just practice.

  • I wish it worked with guitar pro. I tried that guitarz softare, it won't work in windows 7. Why oh why can you not update your software for newer computers?

  • @ kuddlemeister its a real guitar dude, they just put lights in the neck to help you learn chords and notes instead of having to look up charts all the time, in fact I have one, and its tha shit, because its a telecaster and older model and it sounds really good, too bad my camera and my amp suck ass.

  • looks worthless and u could really learn more if u just guitar pro prob a lot cheaper and if not that do it the ole fashion way ear training

  • gimmick

  • I should have added that you need the 'AxeMaster' software for doing 'whole neck' illuminations.
