It's been almost 2 months since I finished converting my pickup truck over to an all electric one.
I can drive 64 miles on a charge and at a top speed of 85mph.
120Volt battery pack comprised of 20 six volt golf cart batteries.
Total conversion cost was $8000 including the price of the original truck and batteries.

  • i'm pondering a dilemma here...u can build an electric car..but cant handle a camera..whats up with that?

  • @dapappacn Just one of life's mysteries.

  • what kind of golf cart batteries did you use and why don't you get 10 (12 volt) batteries ?

  • @daswada9 Golf cart batteries have thicker plates, more current carrying capacity, can be recharged 3-5 times more than 12V deep cycle ones and can be more deeply discharged. I also get more range using 6 volt batteries than 12 volt ones. More lead = more range.
