Kinder Gardens is an international early years theatre festival,
which brings the best of European theatre for very young audiences
to small rural venues.
Kinder Gardens Festival is a collaborative venture
between Arts Alive, (Herefordshire and Shropshire), Take Art!,
(Somerset) and Cheshire Rural Touring.
Kinder Gardens gives young children a great introduction
to live performance in a familiar environment
on a scale they will feel comfortable with.
During June 2010 4 companies from 3 countries,
UK, Spain and Italy took 44 performances to
total audiences of 376 adults and 1,533 children.
As part of the festival 67 early years leaders
participated in 3 training sessions focused on
developing dance in early years settings.
