try running nVemulate so the CPU can assist on some of the rendering. If it's a multi-core then you'll likely see a nice boost in FPS with the emulation set properly. This even works on non-nvidia video cards. I've managed to pull off some pretty neat tricks with nVemulate even though it's only supposed to be a debugging tool.

ASUS puts this under notebook, but, hard to say, price like a notebook, big like a notebook, slow hardware from a netbook. don't know what to think about.
