This is my 1970 Fiat 850 project car, bought for the princely sum of $200 from a lovely gentleman in Oklahoma. The engine is 903ccs, and the whole car weighs ~1600 pounds all-up. Sadly, it doesn't yet run. This was an effort to make moving it around the garage a little easier, and it was successful in a slightly disturbing sort of way! (It was being jacked up to sit on a set of car dollies, so we could do this without the floor jack.)

  • I used to be able to pick up the front end of one of those without the aid of a jack (35 years ago, not now)! Yes, it is a very light car. I would say the front was about 250# no more than 300! Mine was a '71.

  • What a great little car! I used to own a 1970 Fiat 850 Spider - Positano yellow! Good luck with your project! When are you going to post an update???
