An abandoned incline railroad in Butler Township (adjacent to Frackville), Pennsylvania. The railroad was abandoned after the ice skating pond at the foot of the hill where the owners had their home was returned to its natural state on orders of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.

Caution: wear full-leg and full-arm protection when walking in wooded areas of Pennsylvania. Poison ivy and deer ticks are natural hazards and can cause misery or sickness. Pennsylvania hunters cover up and check for ticks; why shouldn't you?

  • Baran is an asshole.

  • The incline is on private property and I probably shouldn't have dug around without obtaining permission. That said, use these coordinates. Park at the bottom of Englwood Drive/ Walnick Drive and follow what may still be the south path along the creek for about 500 feet. 40.778933, -76.24161

  • where is that located
