Scenes & Sounds from Seattle's Capitol Hill Block Party, Saturday July 25th, 2009. I'm glad I did not bring out the Canon 5D2 as I was in the crush of the Main Stage for 6 hours straight. It was a fun big sweaty mess and I think I captured the energy fairly well even with my crappy little point & shoot. The sound on this camera was worse than sonic static, so I did my best at piecing a few songs together with all the video clips. Oh, at the end of the day I was just too wiped out to deal with the crowd once Sonic Youth hit the stage, so I bailed. I know, lame, right?
