A low key conversation between Soulfly mainman Max Cavalera and fans Ryan and Manny. In this YouTube video they discuss Max's recent projects with him on August 31, 2007 at the 11th Annual D-Low Memorial Festival in Arizona.

In this part, they focus the discussion on Max's new project with Iggor Cavalera, Joe Duplantier, and Marc Rizzo called the Cavalera Conspiracy (who made their debut live performance later that night after the interview). Cavalera Conspiracy has recorded their debut album and it's currently being mixed - with an anticipated early 2008 through Roadrunner - and Soulfly enters Bobby Burn's the Porch Studios in Florida on Wednesday (September 12th) to begin tracking their sixth full length album with Max in the producer's chair. To keep up with all of the music that's going to be unleashed next year, Soulfly.com will be releasing an interview with another member of Soulfly and the Cavalera Conspiracy every two weeks, with Joe Duplantier up next. Part 2 of the Max Cavalera conversation has now been posted at http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=1584656736065764165&hl=en

  • @kiflarrgh youre just jealous you envious loser

  • MAX = GOD

  • what song is at the end?

  • Chaos A.D. and Roots i find them the best of sepultura !! Cavalera will always blow my mind with his music !!!!!!!!!!! headbanging 4 ever

  • I'll have to insist bro... in songs like Nevertrust the double bass drum could be plyed at a much higher speed... I'm a drummer and I've played my own version of that song and sounds much more aggressive when played faster... my review about the entire album is that the songs are not as good as they could have been but it's still a pretty decent effort...

  • How can drums be slow? It doesn't make any sense. They're played at the speed that the songs require. CC is killer.

  • Check out the last three Soulfly albums, "Prophecy", "Dark Ages" and "Conquer" Max went back to thrash, they're killer.

  • d-low memorial 09' wuz sick with it
